This relates to Los Angeles – If a vehicle is impounded after an accident, if the car isn’t picked up will it be auctioned and tow fees waived since the impound lot will get the benefit of the money?

The fees for towing and storage would be deducted from the sale of the salvage. If there is not enough salvage value, the owner of the vehicle will owe the difference.
