I hear they hold weekly auctions and the cars are being sold for the cost of the impound fees? usually about $$160.00 plus taxes of course.

im an 18 year old trying to get my first car
so i have my own transportation to go to college
instead of depending on my friends
even if its not in the best condition
and i have to pay a couple more hundred
to get it fixed
do i got a big chance
im not really picky in the car either

I am looking to buy an old 1987 honda crx that some man is selling private party. I am going to look at it today. The man told me the car was purchased from a police auction house. Apparently the kid who owned the car before had no license, tags, or license plate. The man is asking about 700 bucks for the car but i plan to restore it. My main concern is will I be responsible for back fees in tickets if the previous owner hasn’t paid them?
